What is Capital Subsidy?

• Capital Investment Subsidy for Setting up / Expansion and Diversification / Modernization of Agro and Food Processing Units @ 25% of eligible project cost      (Plant & Machinery and Technical Civil Works) with a ceiling of Rs. 50.00 lakhs.
• Capital Investment Subsidy for Cold Chain, Food Irradiation Processing Plants and Pack Houses @ 25% of eligible project cost with a ceiling of Rs. 500.00         lakhs.
• Capital Subsidy for Creating Primary Processing Centers / Collection Centers in Rural Areas @ 25% of eligible project cost with a ceiling of Rs. 250.00 lakhs.
• Capital Subsidy for Reefer Vehicles / Mobile Pre-Cooling Vans @ 25% of eligible project cost with a ceiling of Rs. 50.00 Lakhs in the form of credit linked             back ended grant-in-aid.
